Website design for plumbing, HVAC and roofing contractors

Plumbing & HVAC websites built for the 2am emergency call

A homeowner with water on the floor doesn’t shop around. They grab their phone and call the first company that looks real and is easy to reach.

A written report on your current site, by email within 2 business days. Not a sales call. No site yet? Ask anyway.

We build the website that makes you easy to reach. Tap-to-call on every screen, pages for the towns you serve, your reviews and license up front. Fixed price from $1,500, in writing. You own all of it.

  • Fixed price in writing, from $1,500
  • You own your site, domain and content
  • 50% to start, the rest before launch
  • 30 days of free fixes after launch

Sound familiar?

If you run a plumbing, heating, cooling or roofing company, you have probably said at least one of these out loud.

  • “I pay a company every month for my website, and I found out I don’t even own it.”
  • “The phone number on my site isn’t clickable. On a phone.”
  • “We work in a dozen towns. Google seems to think we work in one.”
  • “I’ve got great Google reviews. None of them are on my website.”
  • “It’s February and my homepage is still pushing an AC tune-up.”
  • “I book jobs in Jobber. My website still says ‘fill out this form and we’ll get back to you.’”
  • “The last web guy stopped answering emails.”

None of that is on you. You fix pipes, furnaces and roofs. Websites were never supposed to be your job.

Here is what we’d put right, and in what order.

The checklist

What a good plumbing or HVAC website needs

Not a bigger slideshow. Not a paragraph about your “commitment to excellence”. These things, roughly in this order.

  • A call button that is always under their thumb.
Your number at the top of every page, and a “Call now” bar that stays on screen on a phone. If you take emergency calls day and night, the site says so in the first line.
  • A page for each main service.
Drain cleaning, water heaters, furnace repair, AC installation, roof repair. Someone searching for a water heater should land on the water heater page, not dig through a list.
  • Pages for the towns you cover.
Real pages about the work you do there, not one line that says “and surrounding areas”. They help Google and customers see where you actually work.
  • License, insurance and financing where people can see them.
Your license number, “licensed and insured”, the financing you offer, and any manufacturer or association badges you are entitled to show. A new furnace is a big bill. People check.
  • Your Google reviews, on your site.
You earned them. Show them next to the call button, not three clicks away on someone else’s website.
  • Before-and-after photos of real jobs.
The flooded basement and the finished one. The rusted old unit and the new install. Photos from your phone beat a stock photo of a model holding a wrench.
  • A short quote form for jobs that can wait.
What’s the problem, where are you, how soon do you need us. It lands in your inbox. No long forms that nobody finishes on a phone.
  • Seasonal offers you can swap yourself.
Furnace tune-ups in the fall, AC checks before the first hot week. You change the banner yourself. No need to call us or wait for us.
  • The scheduling tool you already use.
On Housecall Pro, Jobber or ServiceTitan? We can link or embed your existing booking tool, so online requests land where your office already looks.
  • Speed on a weak signal.
Your customer may be standing in a basement with one bar. The site has to load anyway, so we keep it light: compressed images, caching, nothing on the page that doesn’t earn its place.
  • The Google basics, done right.
Clear page titles and descriptions, a sitemap (a list of your pages for Google), and Google Search Console (Google’s free tool for site owners) on every site. That is groundwork, not a ranking promise.

Housecall Pro, Jobber and ServiceTitan are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with any of them. We simply link or embed the booking tool you already pay for. Which package covers which item is spelled out below.

Concept project

Don’t take our word for it. Test one on your phone.

We built a complete, working website for a made-up plumbing and HVAC company. The business is fictional and the phone number is a 555 number. The website is real, and the layout, call button, forms and page structure are what we would build for you.

Most of our client work is under NDA, so this is a concept project built to show how we think. We’re happy to walk you through past work and share references on a call.

Concept project

Plumbing & HVAC company website

Best for emergency-call businesses. Tap-to-call comes first, then service-area pages, financing and a reviews section.

  • Open it on your phone. That is where your customers will see yours.
  • Tap the call button. It’s a 555 number, so nobody picks up, but you’ll see how little effort it takes.
  • Open one of the service-area pages.
  • Scroll to the financing and reviews sections. The reviews are samples and are labeled as samples.
  • Run the address through Google’s free PageSpeed test and see the score for yourself.

One honest note: this demo is hand-coded, and your site would be built in WordPress so you can edit it yourself. Your speed will depend on your photos, plugins and booking tool.

Opens our demo site. Sample content throughout, clearly labeled.

Starter, from $1,500

The “we finally have a real website” package. It covers up to 5 pages and is ready in 2–3 weeks.

A typical set is Home, Services, About and Contact, plus one more. A good use of the extra page is a gallery of finished jobs, or financing. Your number is tap-to-call everywhere, the quote form goes to your inbox, and your license and insurance details are where customers can see them.

Business, from $3,500

The package for a company that works across several towns and wants each one covered well. It covers up to 15 pages and is ready in 4–6 weeks.

You get a page for each main service, such as drain cleaning, water heaters, furnace repair and AC installation. You get pages for the towns you cover, your Google reviews on the site, and your booking tool linked or embedded. Local SEO setup is included. Added to a Starter site, it is $400, one time.

Premium, custom quote

For companies with more than one location, a site in a second language such as French or Spanish, or an online store for parts and filters. Quoted per project, and still a fixed price in writing.

Also useful for contractors

Already on Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy or Weebly?

A redesign and migration uses the same packages at the same prices, from $1,500. We move your content, keep your domain and email working, and redirect every old page address to the new one so your existing links and Google listings keep working.

Running a seasonal special with Google Ads?

A single landing page starts from $600 and is delivered in about 1 week. One page, one offer, a form and a call button, with Google Analytics set up to count the requests that come in. We don’t run the ads. We build the page they point to. It’s a low-risk way to try us.

Need more pages later?

An extra page is $150. If you’d like us to write a page from your notes, copywriting is $120 per page.

Want it looked after?

Care Plans start at $69/month for updates, backups and security monitoring. Month-to-month. No long-term contract. Change or cancel with 30 days’ notice.

Site down or hacked right now?

Emergency fixes are fixed-price and agreed before we start. A site that is down or broken after an update is from $150. A hacked site cleanup is from $350.

What we don’t include, and who we’re not for

Not included in any package

  • Domain name and hosting — bought in your own name (typically about $15/year and $10–30/month). We set them up for you.
  • Photography and video
  • Logo design and branding
  • Writing all of your text from scratch (available as an add-on)
  • Paid third-party licenses, if your project needs one — quoted up front, at cost
  • Monthly SEO, ads management and social media

We’re not the right fit if

  • You want someone to run your Google Ads, Local Services Ads, monthly SEO or Facebook page. We don’t do that. We build a site that is ready for them and leave the campaigns to you or a specialist.
  • You want a zero-down website you rent by the month. We build sites you own.
  • You need a logo, truck wrap design or a full rebrand. We work with the brand you have.
  • You want to meet your web people in person. We’re in Serbia, and we work by email, preview links and video calls during Eastern business hours.
  • You need it live by Friday. Good work takes the timelines shown above.

Renting your website right now?

Add up three years of monthly payments for a site you don’t own. Then compare that with a one-time fixed price plus hosting in your own name, and a Care Plan if you want one. We’ve done the math both ways on the pricing page, including the cases where renting is cheaper.

If you ever stop working with us, the website goes with you.

How we work

Six steps. You approve the design before we build anything else.

  1. Free website audit

You send us your website address. We send back a written report within 2 business days. If you’d rather talk first, book a 20-minute call. Either one is free.

  2. Fixed quote in writing

You get the price and the exact list of what is included. We sign a simple agreement, and you pay 50% to start.

  3. Content and homepage design

We send a short checklist: your services, the towns you cover, license and insurance details, financing information, job photos and logins. We design the homepage first. Nothing else gets built until you approve it.

  4. Build and review

You get a private preview link. Check it on your phone in the truck and send us your changes. Starter includes 2 revision rounds and Business includes 3.

  5. Launch

You pay the rest before launch. We go live, hand over every login and send a recorded walkthrough so you or your office manager can edit the site. If we replaced an old site, every old page address is redirected and the website link on your Google Business Profile is updated.

  6. 30 days of free fixes

If anything we built doesn’t work as agreed, we fix it free: bugs, display problems on a phone, broken forms or links. New pages, new features and new content are quoted separately. After the 30 days you can look after the site yourself or pick a Care Plan.

ConicPro is a two-person senior web studio. We have been building for the web since 2006, with 10+ years of hands-on WordPress work. You talk directly to the people who build your site. No account managers and no outsourcing.

We’re based in Serbia and we’re online 9am–5pm Eastern, Monday–Friday. On Pacific time, that is your morning and early afternoon. We build in WordPress so you can edit your own site and you’re never locked in to us.

Questions contractors ask us

I already use Housecall Pro, Jobber or ServiceTitan. Do I have to change anything?

No. Keep the tool you know. If it gives you a booking link or a piece of embed code, we can link or embed it on the site. Online requests then land where your office already looks.

Embedded booking is part of the Business package. On Starter, a “Book online” button can link out to your booking page. We’re not a partner or reseller of any of these companies, so we have no reason to push one on you.

Will you get me to the top of Google?

Nobody can guarantee rankings, and we don’t. We build what Google and customers both look for: fast pages, a page for each service, pages for your towns and clear page titles.

The Business package also includes Local SEO setup:

  • your Google Business Profile set up or cleaned up
  • behind-the-scenes code that tells Google what you do and where
  • the same name, address and phone across the main directories
  • a review link and QR code to hand to happy customers

It’s a foundation, not a monthly campaign. We don’t sell monthly SEO.

I pay a company every month for a website I don’t own. Can you get me out of that?

Usually, yes. We rebuild the site in WordPress, in your name, at the same package prices. We keep your domain and email working and redirect every old page address to the new one.

Two things to check first: who holds your domain name, and whether your contract says the rental company keeps the text and photos they made for you. Anything that is yours, we move. Send us the site through the free audit. We’ll tell you what we can see from the outside and what to ask them for.

I don’t have time to write text or dig up photos. Is that a problem?

That’s normal, so we keep your part small. You get a short checklist that says exactly what we need. On Business, rough notes are fine, because we polish the text you give us. If you’d rather not write at all, we write the page from your notes for $120 per page.

We don’t do photography, but job photos from your phone work well, and we size and compress them. One warning: the timeline starts when we have your content. The checklist is the one thing you do need to make time for.

You’re in Serbia. How does that work when I’m on jobs all day?

By email, a private preview link and video calls. We’re online 9am–5pm Eastern, Monday–Friday and reply within 1 business day. On Pacific time, that is your morning and early afternoon. Your domain and hosting are in your own name, and you get every login at launch. You never depend on us to keep your site.

What you don’t get is a visit to your shop, or someone picking up the phone at 2am. Your website is the one that has to work at 2am.

What do I pay after the site is live?

To us, nothing, unless you want us to look after the site. You pay for your domain and hosting directly to the providers, in your own name. Typical costs are in the “not included” list above. You can edit the site yourself, and the recorded walkthrough shows you how to change text, photos and your seasonal offer.

For the first 30 days we fix anything we built that doesn’t work as agreed, free: bugs, display problems on a phone, broken forms or links. New pages, new features and new content are quoted separately.

After that, Care Plans are optional and start at $69/month for updates, backups and security monitoring. The Standard plan at $149/month adds up to 2 hours of edits a month: swap the furnace special for the AC special, add a new tech, change your hours. Month-to-month. No long-term contract. Change or cancel with 30 days’ notice.

Free, written, no obligation

Start with a free audit of your website

It’s a written report, not a sales call. You get it by email within 2 business days, and it’s yours to keep whether or not you hire us.

  • How fast your site loads on a phone, and what is slowing it down
  • Whether a customer can call, book or ask for a quote with one thumb
  • How you show up on Google: whether Google can find your pages, your page titles, your Google Business Profile and local results
  • What a first-time visitor sees in the first five seconds
  • Technical and security health: SSL (the padlock in the address bar), outdated software and broken links
  • The five fixes that would matter most, in priority order

The form asks for your name, your email and your website address. That’s all. No website yet? Ask anyway and we’ll send a short plan for what your first site needs.
